ProForm Foods Appoints Linda Davis as Chief Operating Officer
“As ProForm Foods and the MEET brand continues to grow, it is my pleasure to welcome Linda Davis to the team as Chief Operating Officer. Linda joins with over 30 years’ experience across transformation, R&D, projects, and commercialisation at leading FMCG companies. Her passion for making great, clean food that people love to eat, being part of a winning team and a desire to grow the plant based category makes her ideal for this role. I look forward to working closely with Linda to drive our vision and to deliver ProForm’s long-term strategy”, said Matt Dunn, CEO of ProForm Foods, and Founder of MEET.
Davis has a wealth of experience, joining ProForm Foods from Goodman Fielder where she held the role of Head of Transformation for the last four years. Davis brings a pedigree of FMCG experience with senior roles held at Cerebos, Kraft Heinz and Coca Cola Amatil.
Commenting on her appointment, Davis said “This is a place where a small group of passionate people believe they can change the world – and I’m on board with that! Once I said yes to joining, I was immediately part of the team, everyone is so welcoming and loves food as much as me”.
Davis was quick to note she was a meat eater with a conscience “We’re not about beating anyone over the head with plant based, all we ask is that we take a small step towards consuming less meat which will result in better health outcomes for all of us and the longevity of humanity on the planet”.
After touring the factory, and trying the MEET range of products, Davis said, “I was blown away with the impressive technology and patented processes that the ProForm team have developed, it really puts the flavour experience at the fore. Flavour isn’t just about taste, it’s also about how food feels in your mouth. Product texture plays a huge role and by delivering a superior texture I know consumers will enjoy it so much that it will become part of their weekly meal plan, just as it has for me”.
Welcome to ProForm Foods, Linda.
